Cleveland, Ohio – For the second consecutive week, Bowling Green State University senior Kaila Butler has been named the Mid-American Conference's Field Athlete of the Week.
Butler, a second team All-American in 2019, threw the hammer a season-best 212-feet-10 (64.88m) to place third at the prestigious Texas Relays over the weekend. Her distance is first in the MAC by more than 14 feet and ranks No. 10 in the country this year.
The BGSU Track & Field team will compete next at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, hosted by the University of Cincinnati, Friday and Saturday.
