Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics will celebrate the 100th anniversary of BGSU Football throughout the 2019 season, highlighted by a celebration of the first century of BGSU Football when the Falcons host Toledo Oct. 12. In conjunction with 100 years of BGSU Football, the department will take part in the year-long celebration of 150 years of college football.

While Bowling Green has completed 100 seasons of football, the first game in program history took place on Oct. 3, 1919 against Toledo.
