BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green Hockey defenseman Anton Malmstrom has signed an entry-level NHL contract with the St. Louis Blues and will report to the franchise's AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. Malmstrom, a native of Osterhaninge, Sweden, spent three years at BGSU, playing in 87 games and serving as an assistant captain in 2022-23.
"I was super excited for the opportunity I got at Bowling Green. There weren't many people who believed in me three years ago. I'm really thankful for all the people within this great program for believing in me and as I tried to take advantage of that opportunity," said Malmstrom.
