BOWLING GREEN — One week after chasing Tennessee’s offense in a primetime matchup, Bowling Green State University’s defense will have to contain one of the best wide receivers college football has to offer.
In Saturday afternoon’s home opener against South Alabama, the Falcons have to contend and likely prioritize the big-play abilities of Jalen Tolbert.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder is a star with a future in the NFL. Falcons coach Scot Loeffler said on Monday Tolbert has the talent to be a first-round draft pick.
"He's a Day 1 guy," Loeffler said. "He's different. We've got to find a way to not let him beat us.
