BOWLING GREEN — A critical piece of Bowling Green State University’s men’s basketball team from the 2024-25 campaign will be back next season.
Javontae Campbell, a third-team All-Mid-American Conference pick and All-Defensive Team selection, will be returning for the Falcons. BGSU announced the move Wednesday afternoon with a post on X saying “He’s Back.”
The 6-foot-2 guard entered the transfer portal in late March, but decided to stick with the Falcons.
In his first season at the NCAA Division I level, the former junior college All-American broke the BGSU record for steals in a season with 90, which ranked among the best in MAC history, as well.
