BOWLING GREEN — By any measure, Bowling Green survived a difficult start to its 2022-23 season.
The Falcons, playing a conference opponent in Northern Michigan right out of the gate, beat the Wildcats 6-4 on Saturday and lost 4-3 in overtime on Sunday. They picked up four points in the CCHA standings — and they did it on the road before a hostile Marquette crowd. Veterans and newcomers alike thrived.
Their reward?
A two-game home-and-home series with Michigan State, beginning with what figures to be an even more hostile East Lansing crowd.
