Senior and junior each captured two individual events on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 7), as the Bowling Green State University swim and dive team opened the 2020-21 season in Muncie, Ind. Host Ball State University won the meet by a 172-127 final.
Platts not only won two individual races, but set a pair of pool records as well.
Andrews was victorious in both the 200 Freestyle and the 500 Free, while Platts won the 100 and 200 Backstroke events. Platts set a new Lewellen Pool record in the 100 Back, breaking the old mark by three-quarters of a second, and she shatterd the old pool record in the 200 Back by nearly three seconds.
