MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — It almost seemed too simple for Bowling Green.
The ease with which the Falcons made the trip to Mount Pleasant, held Central Michigan in check for the majority of the contest, and reached .500 for the season marked a level of dominance Bowling Green hasn’t seen in years. The Falcons asserted themselves as a genuine contender — for division honors, and more immediately, for their first bowl appearance since 2015.
Here are five observations from a stellar Bowling Green performance across the board against the Chippewas.
1. Firing on all cylinders At points in every year of coach Scot Loeffler’s Bowling Green tenure, the Falcons have looked like one of the worst teams in the country.
