BOWLING GREEN — This Saturday, Bowling Green will not play a Mid-American Conference opponent, but it’s difficult to call the Falcons’ schedule much of a break.
The Falcons are headed west on Interstate 80 to play No. 9 Notre Dame, which is favored by 46.5 points, the biggest spread in BGSU football history.
Three things to watch as the Falcons take on the Irish:
1. BG’s attempts to neutralize the Notre Dame defensive line
Falcons coach Scot Loeffler said he believes Notre Dame is “top-five recruited roster,” and that’s especially apparent than on the Irish defensive line.
