BOWLING GREEN — With Saturday’s 91-83 defeat to Kent State, Bowling Green State University slipped to 11-10 overall and 4-6 within the Mid-American Conference. The Falcons are tied for seventh in the league’s standings alongside Central Michigan, which is BGSU’s opponent on Tuesday.
The Golden Flashes came from behind and held off a late push from Bowling Green in earning the victory and snapping BGSU’s two-game winning streak at the Stroh Center.
Here are three takeaways from that game.
1. Perimeter defense is the Falcons’ Achilles’ heel.
Guarding the guards has been Bowling Green’s biggest weakness, and it’s a glaring one at that.
