SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Bowling Green lost big Saturday at No. 9 Notre Dame, falling 52-0 to end the nonconference portion of the schedule.
The Falcons will jump back into Mid-American Conference play next week by hosting rival Toledo at Doyt Perry Stadium.
Three questions after Bowling Green fell to 1-4:
1. Is Grant Loy the solution for BG’s offense?
The Falcons clearly were overmatched up front against a talented Notre Dame defense, but the offense began moving the ball after Loy, the backup quarterback, entered the game in the first quarter.
