BOWLING GREEN — Dylan Frye, Bowling Green’s second-leading scorer, has left the program for what Bowling Green is terming “personal reasons.”
Frye, who was averaging 13.9 points during his senior season, had started all 23 of the Falcons’ games this season and 102 for his career. Earlier this season, Frye broke Bowling Green’s all-time record for 3-pointers made in a career.
He was not with Bowling Green’s team ahead of its Saturday game against Toledo, and roughly an hour before tip-off, BGSU announced that Frye had left the team altogether.
No additional information was provided.
In a prepared statement, BG said, “We wish him all the best.
