Just over a decade ago, the Bowling Green State University women's basketball program had a season for the ages. The 2006-07 Falcons became the first Mid-American Conference team ever to advance to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Championships, and BGSU also became the first-ever MAC basketball team -- men or women -- to win more than 30 games.
The Falcons went 31-4 overall and 15-1 in MAC regular-season play. BG won the league's regular-season crown, then rolled through the conference tournament, downing Toledo, Eastern Michigan and Ball State on the way to the title.
