BOWLING GREEN — D.J. Newman isn’t interested in settling for what he accomplished during a remarkable freshman season for Bowling Green State University’s baseball team in 2023.
The two-way standout has his sights set on even bigger goals as he enters his sophomore campaign with the Falcons.
“The day you think that you’re too good is the day that your success will start going down,” Newman said. “You’ve got to approach every day with the mindset of ‘I’ve just got to get better at what I’m doing. At the task that I’m doing, I need to get better at it, no matter what it is.
