BOWLING GREEN — Justin Turner is arguably the best returning player in the Mid-American Conference this season, but Bowling Green coach Michael Huger wants Turner to do a 180.
In this case, Huger is referring to percentages and not degrees.
Turner, the redshirt junior guard, already was a first team all-Mid-American Conference player last season, but Huger’s challenge for Turner is to become a “180 Guy.”
“That’s a guy who is 50 percent [field-goal percentage], 40 percent from 3, and 90 percent from the free-throw line,” Turner said. “That equals 180, and that’s what Huger is holding our guard standard to.
