The Hammers are in the market for an attacking player this January transfer window, with the east London club expressing an interest in Bournemouth star Ryan Fraser.
And according to L'Equipe, the Premier League side are eyeing up a return for France international Payet, 32, who left the club in 2017 under dubious circumstances.
