'We're all frustrated as it feels like a defeat': Ruben Loftus-Cheek disappointed after Crystal Palace concede late equaliser against Bournemouth but midfielder is delighted with first start of 2018

Ruben Loftus-Cheek revealed Crystal Palace's 2-2 draw at Bournemouth felt 'like a defeat' but relished making his first start of 2018.

Palace had led until the 89th minute - goals from Luka Milivojevic and Wilfried Zaha came either side of Bournemouth's from Lys Mousset - when Joshua King's finish denied them three vital points.

Instead of climbing five points clear of the bottom three, they remain 17th and at threat of relegation, and the 22-year-old Loftus-Cheek told his club's official website: 'We are all frustrated as it feels like a defeat.
