As the rain came pouring down across England, Bournemouth's newest signing was unveiled to the fans as Tyler Adams was showcased to the crowd.
At a dreary Vitality Stadium, Adams smiled and waved to the supporters at the ground he'll now call home after a move from the recently relegated Leeds United.
The United States' captain won't be on the pitch for the Cherries any time soon as he continues to rehab and recover from a hamstring injury he picked up last season.
But luckily for him, the prognosis isn't as bad as once previously thought - and Adams could return to playing sometime next month.
