The FA have demanded that Troy Deeney explains his post-match comments about referee David Coote before deciding whether to charge the Watford captain.
Deeney claimed Coote 'bottled' the decision to send Bournemouth's Dan Gosling off during their 3-3 draw at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday.
Gosling was booked for his crunching challenge on Tom Cleverley but Hornets skipper Deeney accused him of 'trying to do' his team-mate.

Now, the FA have asked Deeney for his observations on his post-match interview, in which he said: 'You can't tell me that their boy did not try to do Tom Cleverley.
