Bournemouth and West Brom have been given a boost in their pursuit of Montpellier star Morgan Sanson after the French club's president revealed the midfielder is likely to move abroad.
Sanson is wanted by several clubs around Europe during the January transfer window after impressing in Ligue 1 this season.
The 22-year-old has weighed in with five assists in the league for Montpellier, and Bournemouth and West Brom are two of the clubs keen to snap him up.
There has also been talk of strong interest from Marseille and other sides in France, but now Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has cooled those links.
