Nottingham Forest have signed centre-back Steve Cook from Bournemouth on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Cook, 30, is one of Bournemouth's longest-serving players, initially joining in 2011 on loan before signing on a permanent deal in 2012.
He has made nearly 400 appearances for the club since.
This season a knee injury kept him out of the start of the Championship campaign and he has featured only four times in all competitions.
"I thought it was the perfect time in my career to make this move to hopefully come and contribute and help get this club back to where it wants to be," Cook told Forest's website.
