Slaven Bilic has denied that West Ham ever bid for Bournemouth hotshot Callum Wilson this summer.
It was widely reported that the Hammers offered £25m to land both Wilson and Matt Ritchie in a double swoop.
However, Ritchie eventually joined Newcastle and Wilson has so far stayed put on the south coast.
West Ham have since added forward Andre Ayew for a club record fee and the link with Wilson has gone quiet.
Now Bilic insists his club never firmed up their interest with a concrete offer for the striker, who scored a hat-trick against them at Upton Park last term.
