Rangers last night completed deadline-beating deals to secure the immediate arrivals of Scott Wright and Jack Simpson.
Aberdeen attacking midfielder Wright and Bournemouth centre-back Simpson had already agreed pre-contracts to join in the summer.
However, the Premiership leaders - who have accepted a three-game ban for Alfredo Morelos - advanced the additions for the final months of their title push.

Negotiations with Aberdeen were concluded in the afternoon as Ross McCrorie was granted permission to make a permanent move to Pittodrie ahead of schedule.
