Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola says that Lloyd Kelly's future at the club is down to the player, although the Cherries boss accepts he would like to keep the defender.
Kelly will miss this weekend's game against Luton Town through injury and speculation about his career at Bournemouth is only increasing before the opening of the January transfer window.
The former Cherries captain's contract expires next summer.
"I want him to recover as soon as possible," said Iraola. "He is one of our best players.
"He has been performing really well for us in the games he has played this season.
