Pictured: Pensioner sought for questioning by cops over incident which saw mother bitten 'after she was shouted at for cycling too close to bulldog-type dog'

Police have issued an image of a man they are looking to identify after a mother was allegedly bitten by a bulldog-type dog after her daughter was shouted at for cycling past too closely.

A man and a woman reportedly shouted at the woman's young daughter who they said was riding too close to their dog in a park.

Describing the animal as a 'bulldog-type dog', police said an argument ensued resulting in the pet allegedly biting the mother on the leg, causing bruising.

The pensioner is said to have attempted to hit the victim with a dog lead during the row in Meyrick Park, Bournemouth, Dorset.
