Midfield performs but Bournemouth's defence caught out against Arsenal

Bournemouth may have suffered a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday, but it was not all doom and gloom for the Cherries.

Despite the scoreline suggesting otherwise, Eddie Howe's side held their own and were not overawed by a trip to the Emirates. If it wasn't for a couple of individual errors, they could have quite easily left London with a point.

Positives

Nathan Ake proved himself again as an incredibly talented player and he offers the Cherries something different with regards to playing out from the back. He has the eye for a killer pass and the pace to compete against the trickiest of attackers which are two vital attributes required to succeed in the Premier League.
