Jurgen Klopp is furious with Steve Cook after the Bournemouth defender described Loris Karius as Liverpool's weak link.
The Liverpool goalkeeper came in for heavy criticism after he fumbled a shot from Cook in injury time last Sunday that led to Nathan Ake's winning goal. It prompted Cook to reveal that Bournemouth had viewed Karius as a 'target' to exploit.
But Cook's comments may return to haunt. Klopp was incensed when they were relayed to him and after launching a staunch defence of the Germany Under 21 international, he turned his fire on Cook and has already put a ring around the return fixture against Bournemouth in April.
