Jermain Defoe has been awarded the Premier League goal of the month trophy for his spectacular half-volley for Bournemouth against Crystal Palace.
The 35-year-old scored both goals in the Cherries 2-2 draw with the Eagles on December 9.
But it was his second that was a superb strike and ensured he became the second Bournemouth player to win the award.
Lewis Cook's long ball found Defoe in behind the Palace defence and from a tight angle he hit a half-volley which lobbed Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni.
