Jermain Defoe has revealed that he was so excited about joining Rangers that he kissed the turf on the Ibrox pitch on the day that he signed for the club.
Defoe joined Rangers on loan from Bournemouth on January 6 2019 and the deal will be made permanent this summer.
The striker posted a video of his arrival at Ibrox that showed him kissing the pitch for good luck.
Defoe wrote on Twitter: 'So this was day after I signed.
