Bournemouth manager Jason Tindall revealed he consulted his 'close friend' Kieran Trippier before signing Rodrigo Riquelme on loan from Atletico Madrid.

And Tindall gained an insight into the youngster's character and abilities by speaking to England international Trippier, a team-mate of Riquelme at Atletico.
