Saturday marks a year to the day since Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter and his fiancee Rachel suffered the devastating loss of their stillborn daughter, Renee.

Twelve months on from the tragedy, the 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international has spoken about how it affected him on and off the field.

Speaking to The Guardian, Arter admitted: 'I wanted something to change in my life because I was that unhappy; I needed something just to change my mindset and thankfully it wasn't getting a move from Bournemouth because I feel that would have been the worst thing for me.
