Harry Arter receives abusive tweets taunting him over death of his child

Bournemouth have reported a non-League footballer after he allegedly sent abusive tweets to Harry Arter concerning the death of his child.

An account under the name of Alfie Barker - a striker for Codicote in the South Midlands League - posted the messages during Bournemouth’s 3-3 draw with Arsenal on Tuesday night.

Arter and his partner Rachel lost their stillborn daughter in December, 2015 and the player has spoken publicly about his family’s heartache.
