Ex-Everton defender Sylvain Distin believes his old club have too much quality to find themselves in a relegation battle this season.
The Toffees are currently in the drop zone after a terrible start to the season, which got worse on Thursday night as they crashed out of the Europa League with a 3-0 defeat to Lyon.
They have still yet to appoint a permanent replacement for Ronald Koeman, with David Unsworth currently in caretaker charge.
But, speaking exclusively to talkSPORT on Friday, Distin insisted he is not worried about the Blues’ Premier League status.
