USA international Emerson Hyndman has revealed Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe’s admiration for Ibrox counterpart Mark Warburton helped seal his switch to Rangers.
The playmaker was confirmed on Monday as Warburton’s first new arrival of the January window on a six-month loan from the English Premier League outfit.
Hyndman has made three appearances for the Cherries this season, including Saturday’s shock FA Cup defeat to Millwall, and has been capped twice by America.
The 20-year-old hopes that Howe and Warburton’s similar football philosophies will help him hit the ground running in Glasgow.
