David Brooks continues his remarkable return from cancer with a first-half HAT-TRICK against Portsmouth in the Hampshire Senior Cup - netting three during the 5-2 win to send the Cherries to the semi-finals

Bournemouth winger David Brooks continued his sensational return from cancer with a first-half hat-trick during his side's 5-2 win over Portsmouth in the Hampshire Senior Cup on Tuesday.

Brooks, who was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2021, made an 11-minute cameo during Bournemouth's 3-0 defeat against Aston Villa last weekend, marking his first senior appearance for the club in 18 months.

The Welshman revealed on social media in May 2022 that he was finally cancer free, and he has since been working towards a full return to action.
