Crystal Palace confirm Wayne Hennessey has left the club after seven years... with Wales' most-capped goalkeeper replaced by Remi Matthews in new boss Patrick Vieira's squad ahead of new season

Crystal Palace have confirmed goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has left the club, bringing a seven-year spell at Selhurst Park to an end.

The 34-year-old joined the south London club from Wolves in 2014 and went on to make 132 appearances for the club, keeping 37 clean sheets in the process.

But after making just one senior appearance for Palace in 2020-21 - a second-round League Cup defeat by Bournemouth on penalties - the Wales international has departed on a free transfer.
