CARABAO CUP FOURTH ROUND DRAW: Man United face Newcastle in a repeat of last year's final as they set record for most domestic cup ties drawn at home... while Liverpool and Arsenal face all-Premier League ties

Newcastle are going to have to do it the hard way if they want to be successful in the Carabao Cup this year after being drawn against Manchester United in the fourth round in a repeat of last year's final.

Eddie Howe's side knocked out treble winners Manchester City on Wednesday, beating Pep Guardiola's outfit 1-0 at St James' Park thanks to an Aleksander Isak goal as jubilant scenes went around the ground at full time.

They will be hoping to build on what has been so far a successful project under Howe, and go one step further than last season after they lost 2-0 at Wembley to Erik ten Hag's side.
