Burnley were inspired by a thunderous half volley from Jeff Hendrick as Sean Dyche's side overcame visiting Bournemouth at Turf Moor.
Burnley came out of the blocks phenomenally with a stunning Jeff Hendrick half volley putting his side in front. The lead was then doubled three minutes later through Stephen Ward who nipped in to smash home from close range.
Deep into first half stoppage time Benik Afobe grabbed one back, converting Simon Francis' cross. George Boyd re-established his side's lead in the second half with a thunderous strike which secured Dyche's men the win despite a late consolation from Charlie Daniels.
