Bournemouth goalkeeper Alex Paulsen has been left in limbo following his loan move to Auckland FC because of the A-League's current rules on multi-club ownership.
The Cherries signed Paulsen from Wellington Phoenix in June for a deal which could reportedly be worth up £2m.
New Zealand international Paulsen has since made the switch to Wellington's rivals Auckland FC, who are part of Bournemouth owner Bill Foley's portfolio of clubs.
However, the 22-year-old faces a wait - which could take weeks - to see when he will actually be able to play in Australia and New Zealand's top-flight.
