Bournemouth CONFIRM the appointment of Gary O'Neil as manager on an 18-month contract following an impressive stint as interim boss at the Vitality

Bournemouth have appointed Gary O'Neil as their permanent manager.

The former Portsmouth midfielder had already enjoyed a successful spell at the club as caretaker boss.

He has agreed an 18-month-contract, with the option of another 12 months depending on results.
