Bournemouth have completed the signing of Lyon midfielder Romain Faivre for around £12.8million.
However, the Cherries will immediately loan him out to Ligue 1 side Lorient, where he spent the second half of last season on loan.
The 24-year-old will link up his Bournemouth team-mates in the summer of 2024, as per Sky Sports' report of his transfer.
Bournemouth were impressed with Faivre's form at Lorient, where he scored five goals in 17 games. He splits his time between the right flank and central attacking midfield.
In January, Bournemouth chairman Bill Foley acquired minority ownership of Lorient - a 33% stake - which sparked protestations from fans of the French outfit.
