Bournemouth are stepping up their interest in Newcastle keeper Karl Darlow, who has two-years remaining on his contract at St James' Park.
The 32-year-old last played for the Magpies in a 2-1 Carabao Cup win against Tranmere last August and spent the back end of last season on loan in the Championship with Hull City.
Darlow has featured in both of Newcastle's pre-season fixtures, but has been allowed to leave their US camp to finalise a move to the Cherries.
Eddie Howe had earlier indicated that one of his five first team stoppers could depart this summer, with Darlow the most likely have significantly fallen down the pecking order.
