Bournemouth have now reversed their decision to furlough non-playing staff during the coronavirus crisis after facing furious backlash from fans.
The Cherries have followed suit with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, who also reversed plans to furlough non-playing staff following criticism.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Bournemouth's board of directors said: 'We have listened to our supporters and have reversed our decision to furlough these employees.'
Using the Government's Job Retention Scheme would've seen non-playing staff have 80 per cent of their wages up to £2,500 per month paid by the British taxpayer.
