Children did NOT jump off pier and were NOT hit by jet-ski, police say
In a press conference earlier today a spokesperson for Dorset Police confirmed that the two young people who sadly died in last night's incident did not jump off Bournemouth pier and were not hit by any watercraft.
A 17-year-old boy from Southampton and a 12-year-old girl from Buckinghamshire died after getting into difficulty in the water at the Dorset resort on Wednesday afternoon.
