Bournemouth are plotting an ambitious move to make former Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa their new manager.
The Athletic are reporting that club officials met with prospective new owner Bill Foley in Las Vegas this week, where the appointment of a new manager was high on the topics being discussed.
The Cherries parted ways with Scott Parker in August and placed Gary O'Neil in charge on an interim basis, but the former midfielder is not expected to be in the running for the job on a permanent basis.
Marcelo Bielsa is a possible candidate for the Bournemouth job under club's new owners
However, Bielsa is on the list of candidates to become the first boss under Foley's regime, once he passes the Premier League's owners’ and directors’ test and can complete the takeover.
