Bournemouth 5-0 Huddersfield Town - Cherries keep pace at top with comfortable win

Bournemouth kept pace at the top of the Championship as they made easy work of thrashing Huddersfield Town.

Dominic Solanke struck twice inside 13 minutes before David Brooks added to Bournemouth's tally soon after.

After the break, Huddersfield almost hit back when Isaac Mbenza teed up Harry Toffolo but his goalbound effort was blocked by the hosts.

Junior Stanislas slotted in a low finish for the Cherries' fourth and Sam Surridge wrapped up the win moments later with a close-range strike.

Norwich's win at Blackburn kept them top of the table but Bournemouth moved back above Swansea, who beat Cardiff in the day's earlier kick-off, to stay in second.
