They may both be small south coast clubs but Bournemouth showed the value of a couple of years of Premier League investment in their squad as Jordon Ibe and Jermain Defoe combined to beat Brighton.
Defoe showed he's lost none of his finishing ability in the Cherries' barren early season form when he took his best chance of a goal, created by Ibe, with deadly accuracy.
Ibe, a £15million signing at the start of last season, provided an injection of quality off the bench. The winger also played a key role in Andrew Surman's equaliser following Solly March's well-taken opener.
