West Ham’s Thilo Kehrer has emerged as a potential candidate for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga side’s search for a versatile defender.
Bayern are on the verge of losing Benjamin Pavard to Inter Milan, after the defender reportedly turned down a move to Manchester United.
This has created a vacancy for a player who can play at centre-back and right-back like the French 2018 World Cup winner.
Germany international Kehrer ticks both boxes and is also well known to Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel.
The pair worked together for two-and-a-half years at Paris Saint-Germain with Tuchel signing Kehrer from Schalke for around £30m in August 2018 during his first transfer window.
