I guess before I really get into why I donate every year, I’ve gotta tell the story of how I became a Red Sox fan.
Like most neurotic sports fans, there tends to be a figure behind you who's just as crazy about the team you root for. For me? Those are my parents. I was just too young to dig my teeth into baseball in 2003, but my older brother wasn’t. He was apparently something of a good luck charm for my parents as they watched the Sox and Yankees battle it out in the 2003 ALCS.
