Why an 11th-inning squeeze play was a sign of maturity for Jackie Bradley Jr.

NEW YORK -- In the midst of another Red Sox rally, a potentially revealing moment about Jackie Bradley Jr.:

Rookie infielder Deven Marrero had just driven in the go-ahead run, and now, as Bradley stepped to the plate, the Yankees made a pitching change, bringing in lefty reliever Chasen Shreve. There were runners on the corners, one out, and as lefty-hitting Bradley took a few final swings on deck, he told interim manager Torey Lovullo that he wanted to lay down a bunt to get Blake Swihart home from third base.
